This family of surprising chairs created between 2010 to the present is forged from the concept of a cybernetic organism, being made of both organic and biomechatronic body parts. Combining artisanship and high-tech machine work, this delightful juxtaposition of organic and synthetic parts brings about unexpected furniture pieces. A rich amount of additions have been made to the polycarbonate base including solid wood, traditional wicker, plastics and upholstery in fabrics and leather.

On this collection I worked on the outdoor version with backrest in laser-cut aluminium  and on the Vienna version with the backrest made of lacquered solid ash and woven reed.
